
TRX exercises
TRX is short for Total Resistance eXercise. The TRX consists of two straps attached to the wall. These straps can be used to perform challenging exercises using your own bodyweight. On this page you can find more information and exercises.
1. Mountain climber TRX
Mountain climber TRX, zet je voeten in de TRX en ga in voorligsteun staan. Beweeg vervolgens één voor één je knieën naar voren en weer terug.
2. Standing bicep curl
Position yourself at the TRX straps and grasp the handles with both hands. Stand firmly on both feet and hang from the TRX in a straight line, positioned at a 90-degree angle to the ground. Then, using an underhand grip, pull your shoulders toward your hands. Control the movement, then return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
3. Overhead extension
Start in a standing position with the TRX strap in your hands at shoulder height. Take one step back and hold the TRX strap just above your head. From this position, bend and straighten your elbows.
4. Chest press TRX
Zorg dat u een TRX bij de hand heeft. Pak de handvaten vast en ga met uw rug naar de TRX staan. Houdt de handvaten vast op borsthoogte en zorg dat uw ellebogen naar achteren wijzen. Strek vervolgens uw armen naar voren, zet een stap naar achteren en zak door uw armen. Vervolgens duwt u uzelf weer terug naar de beginpositie. Herhaal dit
5. Row in stand TRX
Pak met beide handen de handvatten van de TRX. Zorg dat je deze voor je houdt en houd je armen licht gestrekt. Trek vervolgens je borst naar je handen en houd je ellebogen langs je lichaam. Zak vervolgens weer langzaam terug naar beginpositie, Herhaal dit.
6. Pull down TRX
Zorg dat de TRX achterlangs komt, pak vervolgens de handvaten vast en leun met licht gebogen arm naar voren. Hierna brengt u uw licht gebogen armen omhoog waardoor uw borst naar voren richting te grond beweegt. Hiern beweegt u weer geleidelijk terug naar beginpositie. Herhaal dit
7. TRX running man
Lean forward while holding the TRX, then drive your knees up one by one as fast as possible.
8. TRX crunch
TRX crunch, plaats je voeten in de trx en ga in voorligsteun staan. Vervolgens beweeg je tegelijkertijd je beide knieën naar voren en weer terug. Herhaal de beweging.
9. Hamstring Curl TRX in ruglig
Hamstring Curl TRX- Ga op de rug liggen met allebei de voeten in de TRX. Breng je billen van de grond. Breng vervolgens je hakken naar je billen toe door je knieën op te trekken. Herhaal deze beweging
10. 1 leg Hamstring Curl TRX
1 leg Hamstring Curl TRX- Ga op de rug liggen met allebei de voeten in de TRX. Breng je billen van de grond. Breng vervolgens van 1 been je hak naar je bil toe door je knie op te trekken. Herhaal deze beweging door om en om je benen in te trekken.
11. Single leg squat TRX
Place your foot in the TRX. Now perform a single-leg squat. Maintain your balance on the standing leg and ensure your knee does not extend past your toes. Place your hands on your hips for balance.
12. Lunge achterwaarts met kniehef in stand
Houd ter ondersteuning de TRX vast. Probeer zoveel mogelijk gewicht wel op uw benen te zetten. Maak een grote stap naar achteren met 1 been. Let op dat uw knie (die niet uitstapt) niet voorbij uw tenen komt.

The meaning of TRX exercises
TRX is short for Total Resistance eXercise. The TRX consists of two straps attached to the wall. These straps can be used to perform challenging exercises using your own bodyweight. It has its origins in the navy seals training, allowing them to continue to train when on mission without the need to haul weight or heavy equipment. TRX exercises are challenging because you train with your own bodyweight, are constantly moving and correcting. You don’t need a lot of room or materials for a proper workout.
